The "Audio settings" tab configures recording and playback for voice tracks and the built-in player.

Format for Voice-Tracks:
File format of the recorded voice tracks. Available are OGG, MP3 and "WAV". The last option records uncompressed WAV; no codec selection dialog appears. MP3 is recommended for use in RadioBOSS.

Recording Volume for Voice-Tracks:
Input level of the microphone during recording, adjustable from 1 to 50; the value 10 leaves the level unchanged. The best way to find the right value is with the VU meter during a test recording.

Audio inputs for recording Voice-Tracks:
Audio device (microphone or line input) used for recording voice tracks.

Audio output for playing Audio:
Audio device through which the built-in player plays music and voice tracks. If possible, choose a device other than the one used for the speech output so that the two do not overlap.
