Server profiles let you manage several RadioBOSS servers or stations and switch between them while the program is running.

Each profile bundles the complete connection (FTP, FTPS, SFTP or Local), the credentials for the RadioBOSS programming interface, the SQL database and the associated preset list. Because a different station usually broadcasts a different programme, the preset list belongs to the profile and is loaded automatically when you switch.

The currently active profile is shown in the title bar of the program window, as long as more than one profile exists.

Open the server profile window with the F11 key. Inside the cue point editor, F11 is assigned to the help; you can reach the server profile window after closing the cue point editor.

In the server profile window you find the list of all existing profiles on the left. Use the arrow keys to select a profile; its name and whether it is the active profile are read out. The following buttons are available on the right:

- New: Creates a new, empty profile. You are asked for a name. Afterwards edit the connection data using the "Edit connection" button.
- Duplicate: Creates a copy of the selected profile under a new name. The copy gets its own preset list.
- Rename: Renames the selected profile. If it was the active profile, it stays active.
- Delete: Removes the selected profile after a confirmation prompt. The currently active profile and the last remaining profile cannot be deleted.
- Activate: Switches to the selected profile. The existing connection is disconnected, the new profile is loaded, the database is reconnected, the preset list is reloaded and the connection is re-established.
- Edit connection: Opens the settings window for the selected profile. All connection, RadioBOSS and SQL fields then refer to this profile.
- Close: Closes the server profile window. You can also close it with the Escape key.

On the first start after the update, your previous connection and RadioBOSS settings are automatically transferred into a profile named "Standard". You do not need to do anything; everything works as before, and you can create further profiles if needed.

Note: A profile's directory paths must match that profile's FTP root directory. Tracks that lie outside the music root directory cannot be added to the playlist and are skipped with a message when you try to add them.
